I'm all over the place today!

I'm not getting anything done! I had a major problem with my computer yesterday. And that event just snowballed my little world out of control. As a result of the computer problem I didn't get dinner made. That sent the entire family scampering off to fast food restaurants. I had leftovers because no one says, "Mom, do you want anything?" 12 HOURS OF LABOR KID!

I had open house at the kids school. Yes I still go to them, even though they are in the High School. Why do I go you ask? 1. To get out of the house and 2. To find out which teachers give homework and if they give time in class to get it done, because I've heard it all when it come to the answers I get when I ask, "Do you have any homework?"

I overslept this morning, which isn't a big deal because I work at home, but I don't want to get off schedule and screw up another day. So instead of being all over the place it's time to get focused. First things first, coffee!

Did I feed the kids?

Can I tell you something? I’m on the computer a lot. I have online stores, blogs, message boards and the search engines are my friend. At the end of the day my head is spinning. Did I remember to check all 4 of my email boxes? Did I ship that package? Did I feed the kids? And then, I dig deeper. When am I going to quit smoking? Did you return the phone call from your friend that just wants to talk? Am I spending enough time with my kids? So you wonder if things are being left undone or if you are headed in the right direction.

It’s probably a good idea to start writing things down. Those of us that are on the computer all the time would find it very easy to keep an online journal. A wonderful way to express yourself online is My Therapy Journal.com.

To visit MyTherapyJournal.com, please click here. It is definitely worth a look! MyTherapyJournal.com has one clear mission: to embrace the power of personal expression in a completely safe, private and secure online space. When you visit the site you will be able to find out more by taking a tour of the site and visiting "about us".

I would like to know if I’m going down the right path in life most people would. My Therapy Journal.com has a user-friendly graphing system to keep track of the journey you decide to take. Or help you find a journey. Whether you use it for quitting smoking, pregnancy, losing weight or even depression and anxiety it can work for you.

Did I really ask if I remembered to feed the kids or not? Maybe I should explain. I almost always cook, it’s just that they don’t all eat at the same time. It’s hard to remember if they all eat!

Are you shopping?

I have been selling online since 2003. It's can be a frustrating way to spend your day. My online stores seem to have picked up in traffic the last few weeks after quite a lull this summer!

My hopes are that sales pick up also. Farvel Cargo has an inventory of tools and gadgets. Perfect gift ideas for husbands, dads and grandpa's. With an excellent price range. You could find enough items to stuff a stocking for Christmas. We will combine shipping for you!

Farvel Clearance is a new store with an expanding inventory of new and gently used items. T-Shirts, Pokeman Trading Cards and more. For more T-Shirts visit my CafePress Shop for a variety of funny T-Shirts. They have the look of a note pinned to the back of someone's t-shirt. This one says, "Under Surveillance (just act normal)"
If you are an online sellers and would like some friendly conversation or would like to compare ideas look me up at http://www.thecrabbyhost.com/

Scenario Paintball, I'm thinking about Holiday Shopping already.

I swore to myself last year that I would start my Holiday shopping early. I say it every year but this time I really mean it. And I’m going to do more shopping online because it’s easier. No crowds, you save on gas, search engines will find you anything and you don’t have to find a parking space.

Scenario Paintball! When you find a site that will offer you FREE shipping it’s worth a nice long look, don’t you think? When looking for paintball accessories I found just that, free shipping on orders of $200.00 or more.

Ultimate Paintball has what I’m looking for! Or I guess I should say what my 18 year old has been nagging me to buy him! All his friends have Tippmann Paintball guns. The mother in me won’t let him out of the house with a paintball gun unless he has all the safety gear possible. Chest protectors, helmets, knee pads, the prices are great, I can get this kids shopping done in one stop!

Do you have a Hobby?

Selling online I've met quite a few people on the message boards that are very talented. Selling what they make, I wish I could do that! To make a living at doing what you love - creating! Some people are so creative. I've been to craft shows where I've seen people creating art out of things you would normally throw away. It's a gift to be able to look at any old thing and visualize something beautiful. I have a closet full of junk that I'm still waiting to be inspired by.
I use to be able to run my husbands band saw! It broke! But I was getting pretty good at it. I cut out ghosts and pumpkins, then paint them and sell them! I just don't know how crafters find the time to craft and run a website. I guess they get up earlier than me and stay up later!
Please check out my links in the right hand column to see what has been keeping me busy!

Start your vacation off right with Hotel Reservations

I made my husband get off the turnpike on our way home from vacation because I was tired of “turnpike food”. We found a nice diner and had a quick lunch. We had to get on the road again. With three hours of driving ahead of us left we stretched our weary bodies and prepared to buckle the 3 kids back into the mini van, the youngest still in a carseat. I opened the side sliding door and it kept going! It hung by a hinge! The people in the diner just stared at us and my husband blamed it on me.

You can’t avoid these little mishaps on the road and we have had plenty of them! But I have found a website where I can make hotel reservations, book a flight or rent a car with ease. It’s called Hotel Reservations. They also have vacation packages. And worldwide destination offers! The rates are guaranteed to be lower and they have rebate coupons. You can save yourself up to 70%! How great is that? Hotel Reservations is one of the easiest sites to navigate that I’ve found. I clicked around there with no problems at all. Found what I was looking for at very reasonable prices. And they have a 24/7 800 number for you with certified hotel experts available to answer your questions or help you make a reservation by phone if you prefer.

Let’s face it, when traveling with small children you need all the help you can get! Sometimes the form of help you get comes from a guy with a “bad word” tattooed across his knuckles and all you can do is hope that your seven year old doesn’t try to “sound it out” while the guy is trying to put your mini van door back on the hinge.

Cleveland Indians Triple Play!

I got to see it! It was awesome! The crowd was cheering and wouldn't stop. It was like we were waiting for a curtain call, but I don't know who would have come out, maybe the whole infield?
Here is the video.
I wrote about my evening at the Cleveland Indians Baseball game on my other blog.
Isn't it nice to read, hear or see something in sports that isn't about Michael Vick?

Is is too early to plan ahead for the holidays?

I found a credit card offer worth looking into the other day. Mint Credit Card has a low interest percentage, a competitive introductory offer and a bunch of benefits throughout the year. The holidays will be here before you know it! I know it’s only August, but for those of you that like to plan ahead Mint Credit Card could be part of your holiday planning.

Journey Lite helps you lose weight!

I am constantly amazed at the technology that comes out of the medical world. Journey Lite specializes in Laparoscopic Adjustable Gastric Banding. I’m sure you have heard of this procedure. A Journey Lite surgeon makes tiny incisions instead of one big one and they are able to wrap the inflatable silicone band around the upper part of your stomach. So you eat less because your stomach feels full faster!

I literally stumbled into PayPerPost!

I have been blogging for a year and a half. I went to the search engines not to long ago to find ways to improve my blog. There I discovered http://www.payperpost.com/. What a wonderful discovery! I can get paid to BLOG? Get out of here! I clicked around the site a bit and then went immediately to their forum. Because we all know that is where you can find the low-down. People that are actually involved in getting paid to Blog. And they are there!
y
That forum is filled with information! From Introducing Yourself to Having your Blog Reviewed to a Tutorial. I can't tell you how happy I was to find that tutorial. It gave me a step by step "tour" on how to sign up all the way to reserving my first opportunity (opp). I plan on being an active member of PayPerPost's Forum, there are some very helpful posters there. And they are very quick to respond to your questions.
y
If you are already blogging you might as well get paid for it, right? Get yourself a Pay Pal account if you don't already have one and you will be ready "get paid to Blog"! I have my Thesaurus and Dictionary on hand and a head full of ideas. I can't wait to get started.

A Midol Story by Sue

Did I buy the wrong package of Midol?
Don't they come in a bottle instead of a sheet of sealed tight as drum, individual pills? Each individual pill sealed up so tight that when you do need blessed relief from the lovely symtoms of bloating, cramps, irratability, headache and well that's enough for now, where was I?
Shouldn't I be able to open it quickly?
There is a little arrow that says PEEL. Self explanatory, I can see where they are going with this.
It's stuck on the protective foil covering pretty good!
I must pay a price for menstrual relief!
I took my Mother-In-Law to her doctors appointment, this appointment evolved into a blood test and an x-ray. Although I took Midol before I left, I didn't put extra in my purse. The Midol started to wear off in the lab around the same time the copy machine decided to jam up everytime the lab tech tried to copy my Mother-In-Laws paper work. God Bless my Mother-In-Law she kept saying how sorry she was. And I kept saying "Don't worry about it mom." Keeping my discomfort to myself.
She's 83, she's not going to have Midol in her purse!
I got home and went straight for the Midol, thinking this time that protective wrapper will PEEL right off. Right! I searched for the scissors and a bottle of Bartles and James Fuzzy Navel Wine Cooler!

My friends at The Crabby Host!

Since February of 2007 I've been trying to make a living online. I quit my part-time job with a steady paycheck.
The steady paycheck part is the only thing I miss!
I roll out of bed in the morning, grab a cup of coffee and log on to
This is where I find my friends
who are ready to help me with, well let's see:
eCommerce
Advertising
Web Design
Online Auctions and Fixed Market sites
Search Engines
Then I get to work! And this is usually with my dog sleeping at my feet.
How cool is that?
I gave her a blanket to nap on and she would rather use the phonebook as a pillow. And I can't take pictures of anything I plan on selling because she barks at the camera.
I'm making my own hours, meeting a great group of online friends, learning a hell of a lot and making a little money.
I'm glad I left my steady paycheck job.

I had a busy weekend, listing on eBay and eCrater

I got a lot of listing done this weekend! I should have been doing yardwork, but instead I spent my time in front of my computer. The summer is flying by, my kids start school a week from today!

there are several different colors and different Patriotic-USA designs. I have 1 size medium and 9 size large. They are $5.00 each! New with tags!

I started listing Brooches/Pins, that's what I have the most of. So look for that list to grow.

Farvel Cargo's Power Tools!

Okay let's see if I can get some blogging done before it starts to storm again!
You know that wonderful saying, "Be careful what you wish for."

Holy Crap!
This is this past Thursday:
My kids were there and said it was awesome!

Now today, Tuesday, August 7, my alarm went off and I thought there was something wrong with it. "Did this thing go off early or something?" It was pitch black outside! As the morning went on the thunder got louder. Then the sky opened up and dumped rain on us. Listening to the radio, I'm learning about cars stranded, highways flooded and closed, flights delayed and the Cleveland Zoo is even closed!
Dare I venture out to the Post Office?

I would like to remind everyone about the Power Tools we have for sales at our eCrater Store.

Ingersoll-Rand and
Chicago Pneumatic
