Successful Walk

Okay the walk in the rain went well. We managed to set a gaggle of geese off to flight. It's gaggle right? The gaggle saw us coming and starting honking, then took off. Buckeye just wanted to play. A successful walk means many things but the most important is, if I'm carrying a bag of crap when we get back to the house. I was. One of the joys of having a dog is getting to walk down the street with a potpourri scented poop bag filled with crap. Good times. The dog has not grasped the concept of staying under the umbrella, so my house smells like wet dog. But she now sleeps! I'll make each of the boys take her for a walk when they get home from school so she doesn't keep us up all night and all will be well.

Online Casino Reviews

How many times have you said, “I wish I had money on that game.” After watching the Cleveland Indians / Boston Red Sox ALCS series, I’ll bet a lot of people wish they had. I never thought that series would go all seven games. I thought the Indians had it in five. But then I’m a homer I guess. And perhaps I’d need to educate myself on an online casino before I actually “had money on that game.” PRO360.com is a site that reviews online casinos and has a Beginners Guide to Online Casino Gambling along with a Frequently Asked Questions page and Gambling Tips This site is easy to navigate and I found it filled with useful information. PRO360.com can help you make an educated decision for your online gambling games. Whether you choose Sports Betting, Poker or even Bingo, there is a review for you. I bet you’ll have fun!

This Rainy Day Will Screw Me Up

It started raining here in Northeast Ohio last night and hasn't stopped. It was nice to listen to the pitter patter of the rain all night. We were able to keep our window open a little, it has been unseasonably warm. Do I sound like the weatherman? The problem is I have a lot I want to get done today, rain and a couped up dog don't mix. I'm getting ready for our first walk of the day to tire her out and hopefully she will lay around most of the morning and early afternoon. Keeping my fingers crossed that she doesn't stare at me and bark.

That Girl Needs to be on Stage!

That is what I told everyone at the birthday party I went to yesterday. This little four-year-old girl got up on a chair and started to entertain anyone that would pay attention to her. She was adorable! Giving eye contact to her audience and telling us stories so animated I thought I was at story-time at the library. I told her mom, “You need to check out this site called Talent Rock. She demands an audience!”

Almost Done!

Besides getting plunked on the top of my head by an acorn, it was inevitable, we managed to get another side of our house done. WooHoo! One more weekend and we should be able to be done putting up vinyl siding on our house all by ourselves. This is a job I will not sign up for ever again. So keep your fingers crossed that we have good weather next weekend. This weekend was gorgeous and I would mind a repeat. I'm so ready to be done with this house.

Get Me Out of Here

Perhaps it’s time to find a place to go without baseball talk. I’ll find myself a cheap flight and get the heck away from listening to how much the Cleveland Indians blew it. I can check into some flights to India, that’s far away from ESPN commentators. Do they even have baseball in India? Looking on the upside of not going to the World Series, hmmm, I won’t lose anymore sleep!

I Need To Get Out More

I was talking to the dog the night Jake Westbrook was pitching for the Cleveland Indians, Tuesday I think. No one was home yet. The dog and I have some great conversations. So anyway I said, "Buckeye, he strikes out the first batter he faces and then walks the next one? What the hell?" She looks at me as if to say, "Duh! Are you forgetting Westbrook is a ground ball pitcher? We have a double play set up here." Sure enough the Indians turned a double play.
Now some people would think I'm a little weird and I need to get out of the house more. There are few that understand what it's like to be a Cleveland sports fan. There hasn't been a major championship won in Cleveland since I've been alive. We are talking Baseball, Football and Basketball because they are the only ones that count. We've come very close in the past, the Fumble, the Drive, the Shot, that we get a little slap happy when we start to get close again. We want to get excited, really. But we've been disappointed so many times in the past, we had our hopes crushed, celebrations brought to a halt, that it's only a matter of time before we have conversations with our dogs.

Credit Card Comparison

There is only so much advice your kids are going to listen to from you as their parents. Once they get a little older they listen to you more or have a longer attention span, I’m not sure. When it comes to credit cards you want to get some quick advice in their heads and hope it sticks before they get in too much debt and have to worry about balance transfers or incredibly high interest rates. If they get into financial trouble, who bails them out? We do get to say, “I told you so.” But it still costs us. Directing them towards a site where they can do some credit card comparison, is one of the better ideas I’ve come up with. It’s all about the computer right?

I Don't Want To Talk About It

I didn't get much sleep so I'm crabby. The Cleveland Indians lost last night. Damn it. I want this series to be over and I wanted to end it in Cleveland. Now we go back to Boston. Cleveland went up against Josh Beckett, he had his stuff. C.C. Sabathia, didn't bring it! Very disappointing. Too many errors for the Indians in playoff baseball. I hope they can turn around this defeat. Okay I vented. Now I will turn back into a Cleveland Indians cheerleader. Come on Tribe!

Another One on the Road

I have another kid getting ready to drive. That means more gray hair. Great. This is the last of our boys to learn how to drive. Yes, we have three boys. You can understand then, why my husband and I compare car insurance regularly. People tell me all the time that it is easier to raise boys than girls, this I believe. Our car insurance might cost more but we have less drama and as long as you have home insurance you can breath a little easier when you have boys. Trust me, you can’t believe what boys think of sometimes. No wait a minute they don’t think, that’s the problem!

The Office Season 4 - Launch Party

The Cube on the Screen. That was awesome!

Going Lavender

I decided I want my house to smell like lavender. When I walk into my house I want to take a deep breath of lavender. I've bought all lavender laundry products and lavender dish detergent, hand soap for the kitchen. My next step is to buy scented candles and air fresheners.
Can you tell I got nothin today? I'm going for more coffee and get a shower, perhaps I'll come back with something intriguing later.

The Fun of Shopping Online

One of the fun parts of shopping online is when the packages start coming. Just about everyday a package gets delivered to your door during the Holiday shopping season. I don't know about anyone else but I love it!
I sell online also. Here is a list of my stores:
Farvel Cargo: I have a large inventory of tools, you can find a lot of Stocking Stuffers here!
Farvel Clearance: New and gently used items in this store. PokeMon Trading Cards to Glassware.
Farvel T-Shirts: These t-shirts are blank on the front but on the back it looks like someone has pinned a note on it.
Take a look when you get a chance and get some shopping done!

It's Tribe Time

I first heard about this story on the radio, WTAM in Cleveland, because I'm a talk radio junkie. It sent chills up my spine. The Tribe is certainly giving us Cleveland fans a ride of our lives this baseball season. I'm enjoying the hell out of it! From the snow storm at the beginning of the season to the "bug storm" in the Indians/Yankees playoff game, this team has been on fire.

CLEVELAND --Ray Chapman's spirit could be floating the Cleveland Indians through a season unlike any other in their history.
Strange, unexplainable, improbable, head-scratching events have surrounded this team for months, beginning almost from the moment the Indians rediscovered a lost piece of Chapman's legacy.
more..........
i
I can't wait for the game tonight!

Your Welcome

As I continue my quest for a stress-free holiday season, it’s only right that I pass along information to help the rest of the world to do the same. It’s the least I can do. Saving money seems to relieve stress, it does for my husband anyway. NCNatural.com has a boatload of well-known online shopping sites coupons. This site is updated daily. Some of the links you click on will give you a coupon code. Like if you are looking for Kohl’s coupons, when you click on a specific coupon it will tell you to write down a code before you continue with your shopping. If you have ever shopped online when you get to the shopping cart you’ve seen the area where it says discount code right? Now you get to use it! Don’t tell my parents, but I’m heading over for some wine.com coupons. My parents drink wine a 5:00 every day “because it’s good for your heart”. Red wine of course.

I Make Myself Nervous Sometimes

I'm trying to add a column on my blog. The last time I tried to do a major change to my blog I ended up crying. I saved my code this time, the old one and the "attempt". I ended up with an "add page element" at the very top of my page above my header. And then I didn't have any "add page elements" in the space for the column I created. Yeah, I'm soooo ready for my own domain!

I'm so stoked for the Cleveland Indians vs. Boston Red Sox game tonight!

My Practice Kid

Boy, time sure is flying by as I get older! I just got back from my sons reading tutors baby shower. It seems like just yesterday we were seeking help in reading for my oldest son. Reading is so important when they are just starting out in school, it affects every subject. I call my oldest my practice kid. We waited longer than we should have to get him a tutor and like I always say, “Now that we know, we won’t do that with the other two.” Poor kid!

Chocolate Covered Strawberries and Champagne

I was totally out of my comfort zone last night, but enjoyed the evening anyway. Anytime someone wants to sit me down at a table with Chocolate Covered Strawberries and Champagne, I'm there! I went and got myself a new outfit, purse and shoes. I run around most of the time either barefoot, with flip flops or tennis shoes, so anything with a heel is going to be a challenge for me.
My feet were killing me! As soon as we left and jumped in the car I took off my shoes. When we turned on to our street I grabbed my new shoes to try and stuff my feet back into them. "What the hell?" I looked at my husband and started to laugh. Doh! I left in the plastic inserts in the top of my new shoes. What a comfortable walk I had from my car to my front door.

How Did I Get So Busy?

My Husband called me yesterday and told me we were going out tonight. To a fund raising event, so I have to dress up. I have to find something, no buy something to wear, get my hair done, transfer all my crap from one purse to another. Pick up his suit from the cleaners, order corsages for the Homecoming Dance this weekend, get gas in the car, oh and we are out of detergent.
While at this event I will have to try and keep my husband awake. He got home this morning at 5:30. He had to go for a "sleep study" last night. When they get enough information on your sleeping habits they wake you up and send you home. So they sent the poor guy off into the night at 5:00 am. He's trying to get some sleep now before he goes to work.
Where should I start? Ahhh coffee, more coffee.

Ashop Commerce is Worth a Look

I have been selling online since 2003. Just at the online auction type places. I have met a lot of online selling friends over the years through forums. They all have, are starting or at least thinking about their own website. And trying to talk me into doing the same. There is a lot to do when you start your own site. Domain name, web hosting and when you think that’s enough don’t forget shopping cart software. I think that may be your most important decision. You have to be able to integrate with your bank and PayPal, plus make sure you have checkout security.

Ashop Commerce may be worth a look, especially since they have a ten-day FREE trial. What do you have to lose there? Tech support is incredibly important to anyone with a new website especially a novice. Ashop Commerce is there to help you succeed. So all I need to do is jump into the website scene with the rest of my online selling friends.
